Dr. Sahoo successfully secured a research proposal grant worth ₹23.4 Lakhs from AR&DB
(DRDO) on the project titled “Computational Investigation for Development of Spike
Geometries Generating Maximum Drag Reduction over Various Blunt Bodies at
Supersonic Speeds of Mach 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0, Respectively”, demonstrating his active
involvement in high-impact research and his capability to attract externally funded projects to
